This has been my first week back at work. I miss the boys so much when I am here. Brooke is doing great with the boys, keeping them on schedule and getting them to all their appointments.
Brandon is gaining weight nicely, about 6 oz a week. He was 6lbs 12oz a week ago, so he is definitely 7lbs by now. He is eating anywhere from 70-90mls a feeding, he still likes to take his sweet time, and he usually takes a break before taking the last 20 mls. He still isn’t a great sleeper but he is getting better. He will have periods where he sleeps for an hour or so. He still loves being held and if you put him on your chest he will sleep for 3 hours straight. The early intervention people came over and they were optimistic about things like his awareness, but they did notice stiffness in his feet/ankles and his fingers, so he will have therapy and in the meantime we will be massaging and flexing his joints.
David is gaining weight just like Brandon and continues to weigh about 6 oz more. He tends to be a better eater, and he is pretty good about sleeping. Unfortunately at his first Pediatrician appt he saw a hernia so we have to go see Dr. Jacir in February. He is really doing well, and doesn’t need much attention in between feedings. He would also sleep for 8 hours straight if I put him on my chest.

I've been following your blog since I heard about it though Ana Perkovic in late October/early November. Always holding your family in my prayers and it is so great to see the twins home and leaping over all of their hurdles one by one. They are strong, healthy children.
