The boys are ok. Some issues that are still going and some improvements.
David had 4mls of residual in his belly (thats 2 feedings he didnt process) so they skipped a feeding. If he doesnt pass a stool soon the surgeon will have to give him an enema.
Brandon is still eating 5mls. The nurse thinks his murmur is gone. His art line was removed, a good thing, they feel they dont need to run so many blood tests anymore. He is also getting moved out of the new premmy incubator into a more stable baby incubator.
We took turns holding Brandon (Brooke 40 mins, Nick 2 mins).
It is so stressful when there not getting enough oxy or they just stop breathing for a couple seconds. I can't get used to the alarms.
The nurse is telling us to bring in pictures to personalize their incubators. We feel a little nervous putting "foreign" objects in with the babies. I did order personalized blankets to cover the tops of their incubators to personalize a bit.
Its hard getting used to the idea that I am the father of 3. I probably feel that way since we can't bring them home yet. I am sure it will sink in fast the first couple sleepless nights.

Dear Brooke, Nicky, Nicco,Brandon and David.Betty gave me the blog site the twins are beautiful we are praying for their strength and stamina to continue to get them through this growing process.Have heart and faith the boys are fighters and each day will bring new challenges but it also brings them closer to the goals that need to be achieved which is breathing on their own gaining weight and pooping. Try to just focus on this for now though the doctors and nurses have to tell you every possibility babies are very resilient and some of the complications may resolve naturally. This is a very precarious time and all our prayers and positive thoughts are with you. Each day is another milestone reached even if it is just measured in time.Brandon and David are blessed to have you for their mother and father and Nicco as a big brother so give our boys a big kiss and hug.God Bless our love and prayers are with you.ronnie and family
