When I called for my nightly update I was told he had an episode. He is doing better now. The nurse put the doctor on the phone (we never spoke to the doctor on the phone), the doctor told me she tried to call us, but dialed the wrong number.
David extubated himself, basically from moving or pulling his tube he pulled his tube out enough that the air went straight to his belly. It was an instense couple moments for them and they had to rush to reintubate David. They said it was a very stressful event for him. I am sure it was for them also.
We will be there early to find out more.
